Styling Challenges

Challenge 2 - Black and white

We're kicking off the second styling challenge with a classic and versatile theme 'black and white". Beautiful images can come from this back to basics styling concept.  This theme is open to lots of different styling options but in order to perfect the execution, I've added some editing tips over on the blog to help you get your black/white edits just right.

Our sponsor this week is talented graphic designer Tammy from The Lilybug Project. The home of all things prints, planners, and flat lay cards. We're excited to announce that there will be four winners for this challenge.  One overall winner will receive the ultimate prize for their prop box, consisting of all of your styling staples: black scissors, black glasses, white cup, rustic spoon, classic camera (for prop purposes only), black leather tassel, 10 flat lay styling cards, a cross, an arrow, and some surprise extras. Three runners up will each receive a set of flat lay cards.  Each pack contains ten A6 cards with prints that will suit all types of styling and a mini stand so you can use them in shelfies - the perfect addition to your prop box.  You can see the individual cards here

At least one winner will be chosen mid challenge with the help of the audience so make sure you get your entries in nice and early to make the most of this opportunity!

Remember to follow and tag @prettycreativestyle & @thelilybugproject in the opening caption along with #styled_blackandwhite to be eligible to win.

Congratulations to our most recent first place winner Emily from @ohemgeenz who styled up this beauty for the "black and white" theme.  Emily truely wowed the crowd with some absolutely stunning styling which even included her own handmade flowers.  I look forward to seeing how Emily styles her amazing prize which was an ultimate prop box.
